Neck And Back Pain

Neck and Back Pain Relief

"When I first arrived at Newton Chiropractic the pain in my back was so severe that I had trouble bending to touch my knees. But after almost six months of doctor's visits, scans, tests, and physical therapy, I finally found treatment that was actually beneficial. Within weeks, my pain and range of motion dramatically improved. Now, three months later, I am almost pain free and starting to play sports again. Personally, the biggest obstacle that I had to overcome was my skepticism. It is truly hard to believe that such light touches can have enormous benefits. But in my opinion, the results speak for themselves. In addition to pain relief and increased range of motion, I was surprised to find several other benefits from the treatment. My posture has significantly improved, my breathing is better, and I feel more in-touch with my body (to name a few) Based on my results, I would strongly recommend this treatment to others". - Alex Reynolds

Lower_back_Pain_1.JPG"I was experiencing chronic lower back pain for the last couple of years.  Everyone told me it was because I had a weak core, but I exercise all the time doing the exercises that are supposed to help.  Then I went to an O.D. and she told me it was slight scoliosis and to do yoga.  I went to another chiropractor and he spent 15 minutes with me doing a full evaluation and an adjustment.  I was getting absolutely no relief from any of these methods.  I began to seek alternatives and discovered Network Spinal Analysis searching the web.  Within the first week my lower back pain decreased significantly and continues to feel better and better. My posture has noticeably improved of where other people have commented on the difference. I also was experiencing tingling in my hands during sleep, this has also improved significantly. Dr. Vafai and Dr. Burke are amazing and I would recommend their services to anyone.  The entire staff has been wonderful." - Amanda J.

"Significant relief from 25 years of persistent chronic and regular acute back pain have encouraged me to make progress on other challenges- particularly diet and exercise. Thanks!" - Mick V.

"I'm only 25 years old, and in my short lifetime I have been treated by no less than 7 chiropractors. Since seeing Dr. Vafai I have been able to do things that I haven't done since I was 10 years old. I was told by another chiropractor that I was "chronic" and that there were certain things I would never be able to do. There are things that I can do now all thanks to Dr. Vafai. I used to take migraine medication almost daily and I haven't even opened a bottle of pills in 6 months. My life has improved in every way. Thank you for everything!"

"I began my treatment after having a great deal of lower back pain, which was diagnosed as sciatica. I received treatment for 2-½ month and I'm now pain free. Both Dr. Vafai plus Dr. Burke were very attentive and effective in their treatment. If this problem or any other issue were to present itself I would not hesitate to return for more treatment. This is a well-run and professional chiropractic group." - E.S.

"I came to Newton Chiropractic and Wellness Centre for an injury from a car accident. My entire right side of my back (from tailbone up to my neck) was completely stiff and inwoman_holding_neck_1_1.jpgconstant pain. Having a desk job, I found myself needing to pop several Advil throughout the day just to tolerate sitting down for long periods. I began treatment here about 1 week after the accident. I was setup with a combo of massage and spinal analysis. For the first few treatments I was a bit apprehensive of the care as I had never had chiro care like this before...I was used to cracking and popping. About 2 weeks into the treatments I started to notice differences...I no longer need any pain medicine throughout the came the the ability to stretch a little further. Further into Network Spinal Analysis I truly felt my back releasing. It has now been 4 months and I would say I am 100% pre-accident. As an avid athlete and weight trainer it became frustrating to not be able to do some of the activities or weights that I used to, but now after a quick 4 months I have no limitations and am back to the same amount of weight I was training with previously." - Nick M.

"The severe pain I had suffered in my lower back kept me from working. Since I am self-employed in the construction and floor covering industry, it was really affecting my income. I came in to see Dr. Coleman in January 2004. As you can imagine in my industry I am still going for treatments, but I feel better than I have in years. I feel good and I am not in any pain. Now that I am on the better side of my pinched nerve, I come back when I feel the first sign of something going wrong instead of waiting until I can't work. I recommend to anyone who works in the construction industry to let Dr. Coleman keep their back healthy and pain free." - Jerry

  • An Apple a Day . . .

What is so good about an apple? Is it the color, ranging from ruby red to pale pink? Is it the crunch? The sweetness? Or is it, instead, a combination of all of these qualities, plus the natural goodness derived from the apple's secret ingredients — phytonutrients? If this were a multiple choice quiz, the answer would be "all of the above". Importantly, in addition to possessing numerous appealing physical qualities, apples contain an abundance of health-promoting biochemicals known as phytonutrients.1,2 These specific organic molecules are derived not only from apples but many other fresh fruits and vegetables, and help power the immune system, protect against cancer, maintain healthy eyes, and assist cells in clearing out metabolic waste products such as free radicals. ...
